What's New for the 2025 Toyota Corolla?
The compact Toyota Corolla sedan entered its 12th generation in 2020. While it continues to be a mid-generation model in 2025, several exciting updates debut. After exploring the improvements, you may decide that the Toyota Corolla is the perfect model for your next purchase.
One of the most significant updates is the launch of the FX Special Edition. The FX Special Edition pays homage to the FX16 from several decades ago. It delivers enhanced performance with lowered ground clearance and re-tuned electric power steering. The Corolla FX's exterior shows off a blacked-out roof, 18-inch satin black wheels, black badging, and a rear spoiler. Both the all-new FX trim level and the XSE trim level come with a revamped 10.25-inch touch display screen.
With the exception of the Corolla FX’s exterior enhancements, the 2025 model year’s façade is unchanged from the preceding model year. The design is modern and sporty, with a graciously flowing profile and sweeping definition over the lower door panels. The nose sharply descends into a captivating front end. The nose’s design features a drop-down grille with a diamond-style mesh pattern. The grille rolls outward to connect to large air inlets. The wide headlights are styled with a bold LED ribbon. The Corolla’s exterior features include up to 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, and a sunroof.
Every Toyota Corolla for 2025 features a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system pairs with a dynamic-shift continuously variable auto transmission. It generates 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard.
The trims that do not come with the updated 10.25-inch touch display screen continue to have an 8-inch touch display screen. The base trim level is also equipped with wireless smartphone app integration, remote keyless entry, auto climate control, lane keeping, lane departure mitigation, forward collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. The higher trim levels are also offered with push-button ignition, a leather-covered steering wheel, paddle shifters, a blind-spot warning, a wireless charging pad, a digital instrument panel, and heated front seats.
