2024 Toyota Camry vs 2023 Toyota Camry

Serving Toms River, NJ

The Toyota Camry has been the top-selling sedan in the United States for the last two decades, and it continues to impress drivers with its smart combination of comfort and excitement behind the wheel. When you check out the new 2024 Camry in detail, you will discover that it is mostly unchanged from the 2023 model year. However, there is one change that you should be aware of before selecting your new sedan at Gateway Toyota.

Performance

The 2024 Toyota Camry's capabilities on the road are comparable to the 2023 model year, but there are differences between the trim levels. The base LE, SE, SE Nightshade, and XLE trim levels come with a four-cylinder, 203-horsepower engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SE and SE Nightshade also add a sport-tuned suspension system and paddle shifters. The Camry XSE features a slightly upgraded engine that delivers 206 horsepower, and this pairs with a dual exhaust and a sport suspension system. The top TRD trim level for both years comes with a V6, 301-horsepower engine, a sport exhaust, and a special suspension system.

Appearance

The Toyota Camry's stealthy, contemporary façade is comparable for the 2023 and 2024 model years. You can appreciate an aggressive, hourglass-style design incorporating the grille and lower fascia from the front view. Diamond-shaped air vents and integrated, angled headlights enhance the strong angles of these element. Select trims have unique body trim, a black grille, black trim, 19-inch wheels, bronze wheels, a spoiler, and a few other upgrades.

Features

The only difference between the 2023 and 2024 Toyota Camry sedans is found in the infotainment technology. Specifically, the Amazon Alexa interface available in the 2023 model year has been discontinued for 2024. At the base trim level, the Camry offers a 7-inch infotainment system screen, forward collision mitigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a dual-zone climate control system, road sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping. Some of the Camry's higher trims for 2023 and 2024 are equipped with synthetic leather upholstery, a 9-inch central display screen, heated front seats, a push-button ignition, a wireless charging pad, a digital screen for the driver's gauges, and a few others.
