Performance

Behind the wheel, the 2023 and 2024 RAV4 deliver comparable performances. A four-cylinder, 203-horsepower engine exclusively powers both and is associated with an eight-speed auto transmission. The LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited trims are offered with front-wheel drive with an optional upgrade to all-wheel drive. The Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims are outfitted with all-wheel drive. Some RAV4 trim levels have a raised suspension, hill descent control, selectable terrain driving modes, and an off-road suspension.

Appearance

The 2023 RAV4 and its 2024 counterpart are identical across their exteriors, with one exception. In 2024, the TRD Off-Road and Adventure trims will now be available with Army Green paint, and this color is offered with the option of a black or white roof. This crossover SUV expresses its modern side and solid capabilities through its chiseled design. While the profile is lean with a flat roof and a strong descent through the rear, the sides show off boxy, molded fenders, crisp accents, and thick molding. At the front, both the grille and the lower fascia have an A-frame shape. To the sides, the LED headlights feature three stunning elements, and they are mounted over strongly defined air vents.

Features

The available features across the trim levels for the 2023 and 2024 RAV 4 are unchanged. The entry-level LE trim is smartly outfitted with wireless connections for the smartphone apps, an 8-inch touch display screen, a traffic sign reader, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and a forward collision warning. If you choose one of the higher trim levels, your RAV4 could also offer a surround-view parking camera, a panoramic sunroof, a digital rear mirror, a wireless charging pad, heated front seats, a 10.5-inch touch display screen, an 11-speaker JBL sound system, and several others.
